YBN 50-4w Yagi   with straight split dipole

A short 6m Band Yagi in OWA-style.

This shorter Yagi is designed for easest reproduction, straight split DE and direct feed
with 50 ohms at feed point. Date of issue of design: 2026-06-30.

Use a large ferrite core, coax choke 'balun' made out of several windings on a close diameter ... or a grounded Quarter Wave
Line for best results. Generally it does work without any symmetrising, but a test config with a clap on ferrite for Analyser
plotting or simply SWR check is appreciated.

Return Loss and Smith-Chart, span 45.0 to 55.0 MHz (Note the 2 m Yagi in proximity):

Stauff Clamps 2-12-PP

plus screws M6 x 65 +/- depending on boom size

The boom correction is added in the above table. It fits hydraulic claps like 'Stauff' and booms 20 .. 25 mm.

How many pageviews did this design get since Sept. 2026?
